| What do I need for installation? |
| |
Installation of the personal emergency response system is performed by a trained installer. Installation includes an assessment of the following:
|
| |
| Location |
The installer will assess the layout of the household and investigate the client's living habbites such as where the client spends most of their time. Placement can be in a kitchen, family room, or a bedroom and at the level of a table top, a shelf, or on the floor. |
| |
| Telephone service and electrical outlet |
The Personal Emergency Response Unit operates by calling our monitoring center by dialing an “800” phone number to communicate with our trained Response Associates. There is no fee associated with this call. Most phone companies offer phone service plans specifically for monitoring services at reduced rates if phone service is needed. |
